Become a Court Interpreter

Court Interpreter Training and Testing

The Idaho Courts strive to ensure access for all persons, including those with limited English proficiency or those who are deaf or hard-of-hearing by developing training programs that enhance the quality of interpretation and increase the availability of qualified interpreters in the courts. For the steps all interpreter-candidates must follow to become Certified Court Interpreters or Register Court Interpreters, please review the Idaho Court Interpreter Policy Manual.

If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Statewide Language Access Office at (208) 947-7554 or (email form: languageaccess@idcourts.net).

Note

All trainings are tentative. Please check back here for any changes or request to be on our mailing list. Please contact the Statewide Language Access Office email form: languageaccess@idcourts.net if you have questions and wish to be on the mailing list for future trainings.
