Education Committee

The Education Committee is charged with providing leadership and guidance for the professional development of all judges and court personnel, including:

• Plan and recommend a comprehensive education programs and curriculum for the Idaho Judiciary from appointment to senior judge service; judicial mentoring; and training for court personnel and multi-disciplinary institutes.

• Act as an advisory committee on matters relating to judicial education and the education of court personnel;

• Develop policy and other program recommendations;

• Develop agendas and curriculum for education programs;

• Recommend and develop individuals to serve as faculty for education programs;

• Develop and recommend materials, manuals, bench books, and other education resources;

• Develop distance learning tools and resources;

• Develop and recommend education technology needs;

• Develop and recommend education of business practices.

• Utilize effective adult learning techniques for education programs; and

• Develop and recommend alternative funding sources for education programs.
