Evidence Rules Advisory Committee

This committee reviews proposed revisions to the Idaho Rules of Evidence.

1. The Committee shall make recommendations to the Court concerning revisions and amendments to the Idaho Rules of Evidence consistent with the purpose of those rules to administer every proceeding fairly, eliminate unjustifiable expense and delay, and promote the development of evidence law, to the end of ascertaining the truth and securing a just determination.

2. At the request of the Court the Committee shall make recommendations to the Court on requested changes to the Idaho Rules of Evidence received from attorneys, court personnel, judges, and the general public.
